FOUR CHEMICAL MANUFACTURERS WON Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Awards last week for their leadership in profitably preventing pollution through innovative chemistry. The awards - presented at the National Academy of Sciences - are joint effort by EPA, the American Chemical Society (ACS), and industry and are part of an ongoing experiment at EPA with incentive-based alternatives to regulation.
