European Union members Romania and Bulgaria came under renewed fire from EU justice officials Monday for failing to implement reforms to fight widespread organized crime and corruption.
Two interim reports concluded the two states, which joined the EU last year, had done little to meet commitments to apply EU justice and interior policy standards, as they promised.
