Western Region

On September 9-10, the first Western Canada Vascular Access conference was held in Canmore, Alberta. It was a great success. Thanks to the organizing committee for all of their hard work: Colleen Astle, Angle Brothersoton, Laurie Bates, Loretta Cruise, Mark Daniw, Debbie Eggers, Sarah Harries, Jane Hladky, Gayle Kroestch, Rick Luscombe, Katie Nikl, Greg Reimer, Mirita Zerr, Sylviana Zilkowski and Sylvia Zuidema. I would also like to give a special thanks to Drs. Mercedeh Kiaii and Jennifer MacRae for taking time out of their busy schedules to co-chair this event.
Next year, plans are to have it held in Vancouver.
