Vic: Former union boss to seek damages over injury 46 years ago

MELBOURNE, Feb 23 AAP - Former Victorian Trades Hall Council boss John Halfpenny is
seeking $40,000 in damages for an injury he sustained 46 years ago.

Mr Halfpenny is suing a former employer over an injury to his right ankle, which happened
when he fell off his motorcycle while on his way to work at a Port Melbourne factory.

Mr Halfpenny, now 64, was a 19-year-old apprentice at the time.
